Ottawa native artist, Nicholas Durocher, professionally known as TALK, sweeps New York City off their feet performing at Irving Plaza while touring for his first album "Lord of the Flies & Birds & Bees". TALK compels audiences with his storytelling and authenticity through his music, this album particularly touching upon battling with ones perception of self and strained loves. However, his ability to take such themes and make them universal anthems is certainly his superpower.
The night consisted of performances of songs off the hit album, like 'Run Away to Mars', which catapulted him to fame in 2021 via TikTok, sharing personal anecdotes behind then, and even taking requests from the audience and performing them on the fly which consisted of 'Fat Bottom Girls' by Queen, 'Purple Haze' by Jimi Hendrix, and 'Welcome to the Jungle' by Guns N' Roses.
TALK was supported by artist Zinadelphia, a Philadelphia native who incorporates incredibly soulful singing into her performances.
